About Dorie Herman Creative Services.
I work from the Hudson Valley, NY, where the landscape slows things down just enough for ideas to take shape. My career has always moved between vision and craft, a rhythm that’s shaped me into a freelance graphic designer and creative director who turns concepts into quiet, resonant visual stories. What began as an obsession with layout, typography, and the subtle geometry of composition grew into a love of brand identity design, presentation design, and the deeper currents of design strategy.
Today, my work moves fluidly across disciplines as a branding designer, presentation designer, print and digital designer, and information designer, all in service of making complex ideas feel clear, intuitive, and emotionally true. I partner with teams as a graphic designer for marketing and visual storyteller, shaping narratives through editorial systems, brand worlds, and high‑stakes presentation design services.
At heart, I believe visual communication is connection, a way to help people see more clearly, feel more deeply, and move through the world with a little more wonder.
